Justine Jenkins, Head of Service Cymru and South West
St Giles Cymru has been working to build positive futures across the Nation since 2012. Our team of 80 fantastic staff work across approximately 25 projects that help people held back by poverty, unemployment, the criminal justice system, homelessness, exploitation and abuse to build a positive future. Many of our staff have experience of the issues facing the people we support today, so they are uniquely placed to provide advice, training and support.
St Giles Cymru has offices in: Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Aberdulais and Wrexham and 27 mandated sites nationwide. In 2023 we opened our first 'Y Pantri' in Colwyn Bay - North Wales, which currently supports 75 families in the area with expert advice alongside nutritious food. Y Pantri takes a holistic approach, stopping our clients from falling through the gaps in services and building foundations to support the whole person and create a lasting impact.
Outside of Cymru, we have expanded to operate in the South-West of England with projects currently active in Bristol and Somerset.
