Our vision, mission and values

We want to see a society where everybody – no matter what their background – has a positive future.

St Giles is a charity using expertise and real-life past experiences to empower people who are not getting the help they need, people who are hard to engage because they have been failed time and time again – held back by poverty, exploited, abused, dealing with addiction or mental health problems, caught up in crime or a combination of these issues and others.

We believe everyone has the power to turn their life around, no matter what their situation. Many of our employees have been in similar situations and use their past experiences to inspire and support those living through it right now.

We empower and encourage each person to overcome the adversity they face, from the outside world and from within themselves. If they stumble, we’re there to pick them back up.

We inspire them to solve the problems they face, think big for themselves and their families and help them to build  internal resilience and a place in society.
