Tracey Burley
Chief Executive
Tracey Burley joined St Giles as CEO in May 2023.
Tracey has over 15 years of charity, not-for-profit and public sector leadership experience. Prior to joining St Giles Tracey was interim CEO at Redthread, she also has experience from her time as non-executive director of Careers England and Chair of the Finance Committee of the Career Development Institute.

Matthew Pilkington
Executive Director of Fundraising and Communications - Communications and Impact
Matthew has an extensive background in enhancing fundraising efforts and communication strategies. He has worked in the charity sector for most of his career and is passionate about working with the most marginalised groups in society. His work has spanned the delivery of homelessness services, literacy projects, and working directly with central government departments.
Andy Cross
Executive Director of Development - Service Delivery
Andy has worked in social housing, homelessness and offender services since 1987 in the public and voluntary sectors. Over the years he has worked for Hillingdon Council, a number of Housing Associations particularly Family HA, Shepherds Bush HA, Metropolitan Housing Trust and St Mungo’s. He has been at St Giles Trust since 2003.
His roles have included a wide variety of client facing jobs including housing advice, housing and hostel management, resettlement support, welfare rights advocacy and support as well as developing and managing education, training and employment services including at St Giles Trust. Andy became Director of Services in 2008 and is now Director of Development for service delivery.

Mike Rebeiro
Chair
Mike brings a wealth of professional experience in law, digital and innovation, alongside non-executive leadership roles in the third sector.
He is currently Chair of charity Spurgeons, joining their Board in December 2022, as well as Chair of Adoption UK.
Mike worked for 17 years as a Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, heading up technology and innovation. He has worked in a number of advisory roles since this time.
Erica Handling
Deputy Chair
Erica is an executive coach and a non-executive director with over 30 years of experience working in the City as a law firm partner and General Counsel.
Erica’s work as a coach focuses on supporting leaders in the corporate sector, as well as the public and charitable sectors. Currently, Erica, sits on two commercial boards: Petershill Partners Plc, managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management (which invests in interests in private equity firms); and the Dutch market maker, Optiver.
She was previously a non-executive director on the Board of the Government Legal Department and is currently Chair of Spark Inside which provides transformational coaching to people in prison and St Giles Trust which supports people facing various life challenges such as poverty, exploitation and contact with the criminal justice sector to build a positive future.
Debra Cook
Board Member
Debra has worked in Safeguarding for over 30 years.
Prior to her current role as Safeguarding Manager at National Citizen Service, Debra was Head of Safeguarding, Student Engagement and Welfare for a group of further education colleges in South West London.
Previous to that she worked as an Independent Advocate and Safeguarding Lead for Voice, a charity working with young people and adults at risk who are looked after by the state rather in young offenders institutes or through the care system. Debra also spent a year in Romania running an orphanage and have also volunteered in a refugee camp working on food distribution and child welfare.
Sally Eley
Board Member
Sally is Head of the CIPD Trust, which supports people getting into work, getting back into work and developing in work by harnessing the knowledge, expertise and talents of the people profession. The CIPD Trust is part of the CIPD, the professional body changing the world of work, whose purpose is to champion better work and working lives.
Prior to this, Sally was the Director of the City & Guilds Foundation – the purely philanthropic part of City & Guilds that brings to life the purpose through a range of activities including the Princess Royal Training Awards, the Future Skills Commissions, the bursary programme, engaging young people and measuring the beneficial impact the City & Guilds Group has in society.
Sally held the role of Communications Director at UK Skills and was part of both the WorldSkills International and WorldSkills London 2011 teams. Before joining City & Guilds, Sally had a successful career as a freelance communications consultant with clients in the education, training and care sectors.
Charles Pitts-Tucker
Board Member
Charles joined our board in July 2014.
Charles Pitts-Tucker was appointed Head of Investment Banking EMEA at Nomura in September 2012. He is also Co-Head of International Investment Banking Business and plays a continuing role in the acquisition finance business.
Ameeta Rowland
Board Member
Ameeta first joined the Board in 2018 serving until 2023, then joining again in 2026.
Ameeta is an independent strategy and transformation consultant working across local government and the public sector. Prior to consulting, Ameeta held senior local government roles, including as Director of Corporate Strategy at Kensington and Chelsea Council.
Andrew McEachern
Board Member
Andrew currently works as an executive coach after retiring from full time employment at the end of 2024, where he was Global Head of HR at Christie’s. He brings 40 years of commercial and international experience to St Giles having worked in the energy sector (Shell), financial services (Goldman Sachs) and professional services (Norton Rose Fulbright) first as a lawyer and then as a HR professional.
Charlotte O’ Brien
Board Member
Charlotte is currently the Head of Reducing Reoffending at HMP Millsike, leading strategic work to improve rehabilitation, resettlement, and outcomes for people in custody. She has extensive experience across operational, resettlement and offender management roles, with a strong focus on evidence‑based interventions and partnership working.
Jane Cadell
Board Member
Jane is a Senior Finance Executive with experience across consumer brands, media, fast moving consumer goods and education, having originally trained with Unilever. Her most recent role was for Costa Coffee as their UK Chief Financial Officer (CFO) having previously held Regional Finance Director roles across Costa International, Europe and Middle East and the Costa Express business.
