Will you be Tilly's hero?
This year alone, nearly 1,000 children have benefitted from our Pantries. Children like Tilly.
Unable to afford food and spiralling into debt, St Giles’ Pantry was there to support Tilly and her Mum.
Tilly’s mum, Helen, was made redundant in 2023 and struggled to find work. With only £350 a month to live on, they couldn’t afford the rent or bills and had spiralled into debt.
In just 6 months with St Giles’ Pantry, Helen had found a training opportunity and secured a paid Teaching Assistant role while their caseworker had helped Tilly access counselling.
I don’t know what would have happened if I hadn’t found St Giles when I did.
I felt like such a bad mum – I couldn’t feed my child three square meals a day let alone make sure she was getting enough fruit and veg.
