Financial resilience

We help people in the justice system become financially resilient through support with a range of factors.

What it is

Debts, poverty and financial instability are all factors which can make someone vulnerable to offending.

We help people in the justice system and those at risk of becoming so achieve financial resilience through support with budgeting, managing debts (e.g. advocating on their behalf for repayment plans), advising on welfare benefits and helping them to access emergency provision around food and crisis grants.

We also help people to access credit unions and bank accounts.

Our Pantry network provides an invaluable source of affordable food alongside advice and guidance and is often used by people struggling financially who have left prison or are serving community sentences.
