Community-based alternatives
We support people who are trapped in cycles of addiction and destitution, providing a single, trusted point of contact.
What it is
With the prison population at capacity, we believe it should be reserved for people who pose a risk to the public and that community-based alternatives provide an effective, long-term solution when people are provided with the right support.
Many people in the justice system are repeat offenders with issues such as mental health needs, substance use and homelessness driving their offending.
We support people who are trapped in cycles of addiction and destitution, providing a single, trusted point of contact to help people overcome barriers, access opportunities and rebuild their lives.
