Earlier this year, Peer Advisors and Staff from our Cymru office were delighted to visit Norway as part of an international exchange programme funded through a Welsh Government initiative called ‘Taith.’
‘Taith’, which translates to ‘journey’ in English, is a fund specifically designed to enable people living in Wales to learn, study and volunteer worldwide while allowing organisations in Wales to invite international partners and learners to do the same in Wales.
When the cohort returned, we captured their thoughts. They spoke of their personal experiences, how the trip had enriched their lives and how this unique opportunity took the lived-experience and peer support model beyond borders, enabling the team to share learning and best practices.
