Recently, clients of St Giles Pantry had the wonderful opportunity to visit the British Museum, one of the world’s most iconic cultural landmarks. This outing was more than just a day trip – it was a rich and immersive experience aimed at deepening the knowledge of history, culture, and art from around the globe.
The trip was also about building connections within our community. Stepping outside the pantry environment allowed participants to bond and experience rich history together.
A big thank you to the British Museum for hosting and organising this unforgettable outing. I am proud of the enriching experiences we offer our clients. Our visit to the British Museum was an incredible opportunity to engage with history, art, and culture, while also fostering community connections. We are grateful to the British Museum for making this possible and look forward to more inspiring experiences together.

Beyond viewing the artefacts, the trip provided a chance for thoughtful conversations about the importance of cultural preservation and the museum’s role in promoting understanding and appreciation of diversity. These discussions helped us reflect on how history, not only informs our present but also shapes our future.
It was such a pleasure to host the St. Giles Pantry group, we really appreciated how enthusiastic they were about the visit and the thoughtful questions they asked. We hope that they got to learn more about the Museum and feel inspired to visit again. It would be great to organise another session with the group, to explore other galleries and handling objects.
