Peer Hubs get underway in Scotland and Northern Ireland

Our Peer Hubs in Scotland and Northern Ireland have moved forward with the start of two new Development and Coordination Leads.

Rod Anderson (Scotland Lead) joins us from Code4000, where he was supporting tech sector learning for people in prison. Having lived experience of Recovery, he is a strong believer in second chances and has great connections across Scotland, including in the Recovery Communities and Justice sector. Rod is very excited to be able to put that to work in developing the Peer Advisor Network. Our first cohort of Peer Advisors are already being recruited with training due to begin before the end of the year.

Victoria Price (Northern Ireland Lead) joins us from a background of ten years in the voluntary sector, the last eight working for a military charity to achieve employment outcomes. Victoria says she joins with great excitement and considers it a privilege to lead St Giles’s first project in Northern Ireland. Victoria is also getting together the first cohort of Peer Advisors and host organisations and would love to hear from any organisations and individuals who feel they’d benefit from being involved.
