National Police Chiefs’ conference raises vital funds for our work addressing food poverty in the Midlands

The National Police Chiefs’ Council picked St Giles Midlands as their charity partner at their annual conference in Stratford-Upon-Avon on 19th February 2024. 

Raising over £1200 on the night for the St Giles Midlands, Coventry Pantry which has been supporting the community for close to three years out of food poverty by offering nutritious food, expert advice and support through trained staff and volunteers; many of whom have experienced the same issues facing the people they support today. 

Superintendent Nick Dale (NPCC,) said:

“The most pressing reason to improve our use of advanced data analytics in policing is to tackle the hidden harms of our society. I’m really pleased that St Giles have been our charity partner for this event because they are at the forefront of supporting people who are bearing the brunt of vulnerability and harm.”
