Lived Experience in Action: Peer Circle Event

Lived Experience in Action: Peer Circle Event

Funded by the National Lottery Communities Fund, Peer Circles is a London-based employment project helping people experiencing multiple and complex disadvantage to overcome barriers, improve their skills and access volunteering and employment opportunities. Since 2017, it has helped thousands of people across the capital.

The Rt Hon Jonathan Ashworth, Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, will be keynote speaker where an evaluation into the impact of the Peer Circles Project will also be launched.

This event is essential for anyone who is looking to learn how lived experience can benefit the workplace and other settings. With a rise in the number of people reported economically inactive, Peer Circles brings one part of a solution to the table.

Alongside the Shadow Secretary of State, guests will also hear from Jo Hudek who conducted the evaluation, and individuals who have progressed their lives and are now helping others, thanks to the support of Peer Circles.
