Jenny Agutter will present our Radio 4 Appeal on 12 March

On Sunday 12 March St Giles Trust will have its third BBC Radio 4 Appeal presented by our Patron the actress Jenny Agutter OBE. It will be aired at 7.55am and 9.25pm on Sunday and repeated on Thursday 16 March at 3.25pm. This appeal is a vital opportunity for St Giles Trust to raise important funding for our frontline work helping ex-offenders and people experiencing other forms of severe disadvantage.

Find out why Jenny Agutter is supporting our appeal here.

This year, we are aiming to raise £20,000 from the appeal to support our peer-led services. These help disadvantaged people improve their skills and employability whilst they offer essential support to our clients to positively progress their lives as well. This work reaches people in prison, those on release and supports people in the community experiencing a wide range of social exclusion.

96p in every £1 raised for St Giles Trust goes directly towards our work supporting some of the most disadvantaged people in society.

The remaining 4p goes towards supporting our frontline activity, including our IT, human resources and rent.

We do hope you are able to tune in and spread the word using #R4Appeal and #HelpSGT. Radio 4 is available on FM, LW and digital.
