Future Ambitions For The Peer Hubs

Future Ambitions For The Peer Hubs

Our national network of Peer Hubs have got off to a great start this spring. All have at least one new cohort of Peer Advisors embarking on training and demand from local agencies for volunteer Peer Advisor placements is steadily increasing as restrictions ease.

We look forward to welcoming our Peer Advisors back into the classroom and combining the best of online and in person learning and support in the coming months.

Some Peer Advisors have to had overcome added barriers during the lockdown around access to IT equipment and isolation.  Caseworkers continue to help them access IT hardware and coaching, alongside ensuring online support continues. We are providing personalised support towards future opportunities around employment, training and help with wellbeing.

Going forward into this year, we will be redoubling our efforts to spread the word on the impact of the Peer Hubs, securing their future and ensuring future delivery model make the most of what they offer.

Our national network of Peer Hubs is supported through The National Lottery Community Fund’s Reaching Communities programme.
