Covid 19 – Update from St Giles

Covid 19 – Update from St Giles as of 12 May 2020

We would like to reassure all our clients, supporters, partners and staff that we are doing everything we can to support people’s health and wellbeing in the light of the ongoing situation around Covid 19.

Following Government guidance announced on 10 May our offices remains closed until further notice. However, all our staff  are working hard to support existing and new clients through offering phone and online support. Socially distanced face to face contact is only occurring in emergencies and when judged to be in the best interest of our clients.

We have launched an urgent appeal asking for help to support our most vulnerable clients during the Covid 19 outbreak.  We are already starting to see a steep rise in demand for our services as the impact of the pandemic sets in.

We will be working closely with our service delivery partners to ensure that we follow their protocols in respect of multi-agency work we do within their locations.

The health and welfare of the people we support, our supporters and staff are of paramount importance so we hope you understand these measures. They will be under constant review as the situation develops and we will keep you updated.

We wish you all the best and hope you all stay safe and well – and stay indoors – during this extremely challenging time.
