City and Guilds grant helps Peers stay connected

A grant from the City & Guilds Foundation has enabled us to develop a new digital platform for our Peer Advisors helping them access online training and support. The grant is part of a package announced by the Foundation to help organisations and individuals through the pandemic.

The Connectr platform, built by My Kinda Future, has been created to support development of the Peer Advisor Programme, particularly during the ongoing challenges posed by the pandemic which restricts the level of face-to-face learning and support the Peers can receive.

Connectr provides induction and preparation for the programme, shares and good practice and learning amongst the Peers and enables them to seek advice and problem solve with other Peers.

Digitisation to support other projects has taken place over the past few months with the SOS+ Service also moving much of their delivery online whilst schools remain closed.
