How St Giles Helps
We work with young people in schools and other similar settings to raise awareness of issues around weapons crime and its consequences. We use trained professionals with first hand experiences of these issues to provide this work. Having been there themselves means they can speak with authenticity and authority. We also provide direct one-to-one support for children and young people who are directly affected by serious violence through integrated work with local authorities and direct interventions in hospitals and police custody suites.
How You Can Help
If we act now, we can prevent future young victims. Your support can help us in a number of vital ways to continue this work, including intensive mentoring for a young person at risk or through supporting some of our awareness-raising sessions with young people, parents and professionals.
