This year we will be taking part in the Christmas Challenge once again, aiming to raise £48,400 to fund our food Pantry Network across England and Wales. Our Pantry Network provides weekly healthy, fresh food packages to vulnerable children and families experiencing food poverty offering both an immediate safety net and a sustainable route out of poverty within 6 months.

Campaign Aims

  • Provide healthy, nutritious food packages to hundreds of households meaning they can save and spend this money on bills and other essentials.
  • Provide information on nutrition, recipes etc. so that people can provide healthy meals for their families.
  • Provide access to peer-led assistance around other needs e.g. benefits, rent and employment support.

The Target

This Big Give, we have set ourselves a modest target of £48,400 to ensure that we will meet our desired target. Our Pantries around London and in Leeds, the Midlands, Norwich and Wales have already helped hundreds of families this year. Funds raised will go towards continuing our Pantry services and expanding the holistic practical and emotional support.

Big Give runs match funding campaigns for charities and special causes at key moments across the year. By connecting charities to funders (like philanthropists, foundations or corporates) and the public, we help them double their donations. And, in doing so, make an extraordinary difference to the world’s biggest challenges.
