The Jubilee Project offers mentoring support to young people at risk in Ipswich to prevent them from becoming involved in crime and anti-social behaviour. It also prevents young people from becoming exploited by drug gangs through county lines. It uses specially trained mentors to offer the support and carries out preventative work in schools and pupil referral units.
STOP offers training on issues around gangs for frontline staff and professionals. This is offered through staff on our SOS who can share expertise and insights into their experience as frontline SOS professionals. The service has now extended to Ipswich to address emerging issues around gangs in this town.
