A home and a job are key factors influencing the likelihood of whether soemone will re-offend. We provide support around housing and employment to ex-offenders in Suffolk and Norfolk.

PROFAIN (Prisoners R Out Finding Accommodation In Norfolk)

We work with prison levers returning home across Norfolk to provide support for those who are in housing need.  Prisoners are assessed prior to their release and met on release by trained volunteer mentors who provide support with accessing accommodation and benefits.

SANOS (Suffolk And Norfolk Offender Support) Skills for Jobs Project

This project helps prison leavers prepare for the job market through providing motivional support, accredited training, support in searching for a job and helping access further training.  A team of peer volunteers will support the delivery of training and provide mentoring support to the clients.

Peer Advice in the Community (east of England)

This project will enable ex-offenders in Norfolk and Suffolk to increase their skills and employment prospects by gaining an NVQ3 in Information, Advice and Guidance whilst gaining vocational experience in voluntary work placements. They will receive support from volunteers who have already successfully gained the qualification.
