Prison-based housing casework and employment, education and training advice

Running alongside our peer-based support are conventional advice services which deal with issues such as housing, education, training and employment advice.

These services aim to support the resettlement of prisoners and reduce re-offending on release. These caseworkers work alongside our peer advisors and the prisons staff to provide prisoners with support.

We have been commissioned by the Prison Service to provide Housing Information and Advice Services in a number of prisons.  These offer advice on housing-related issues to both newly sentenced prisoners and those about to be released.

Education, training and employment support workers provide assistance with looking for suitable training and education and also paid and voluntary employment opportunities.
