Whether it is building basic skills or improving existing ones, we provide a range of courses to help people improve their prospects and broaden their horizons.
Our training is offered in a friendly, inclusive environment and is specifically aimed at peope who may lack the confidence to enrol at a mainstream college. All these projects are available at our head office in Camberwell, south London.
WORKING IT OUT
Our hugely popular Working It Out is our job brokerage and career advice service. It helps anyone with a criminal record increase their chances of securing paid employment. Support on offer includes searching and applying for jobs, writing cover letters and participating in employability workshops run by coaches drawn from the private sector. We also advise on disclosure issues and benefit claims. It is open weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays, with morning and afternoon sessions.
Working It Out is available to any St Giles Trust client.
CHOICES

JOB DEAL
Delivered in conjunction with Serco, the two-year Job Deal project aims to overcome the barriers and issues faced by young fathers and adult male ex-offenders on their release.
The project operates both in prison and in the community, and with one-to-one support helps to get its beneficiaries back on track through education, training and employment.
